Just because I’m in to smut; does not make me a slut.
Despite I call myself a “submissive slut” that does not mean that people have the right to treat me like a second class citizen, the only time I get pushed around is in the bed room and only by Master who has earned my trust to do so.
I’ve had a few anon message which I wont publish because they are cruel and offensive and have upset me alot ; there are people who sadly cannot tell the different between BDSM and rape. Yes there are many people who have rape fantasies, but these are fantasies and with consent. Just because I enjoy being submissive in the bed room in a safe and controlled environment where safe words are in use.
I’ve been thinking about it alot today, and when you really think about it despite my Master is the dominate here, I am the one in charge of the situation. I am the one with the safe word and who sets the limits; my Master wouldn’t need to use a safe word.
There are people who are in 24/7 relationships and that’s great but not for me; I couldn’t live like that because I find the duplicity that my life style presents very appealing; I can sum it up with a quote I heard when someone was talking about the film Moulin Rouge “You can go, be whoever and whatever you want - and in the morning you go home” My fantasies are built around being in that safe environment and doing whatever I want and going home like nothing happened and even then it is not the same as rape.
I generally dislike words used to describe women “slut” and “whore” when used in a derogative manner ; it’s all about context; I call myself a slut among my friends as a joke (because I have bit of a reputation for being promiscuous) and on my blog (mostly because the alliteration sounds good). But leaving me anon messages calling me a filthy little cunt wanting to rape me are totally unacceptable especially because its done anonymously.
I might be a sub and enjoy being dominated sexually but I still deserve to be treated with respect like anyone else. You have to earn my respect and the right to dominate me.
Rape is not acceptable ; BDSM is in no way like rape.
I know I have been ranting and it might not be very clear but I’m sure there are alot of people who agree with me and some of the message I have gotten have really upset me.
I accept every type of sexuality and relationship found in BDSM and think its wonderful that we live in a world were we can express them openly along with peoples fantasies no matter what it is ; where I find fault is when it is done in a dangerous way without someone’s consent.
